When thinking of names for this blog i realized my name, Isla Schmidt, fits perfectly with the name of my new city, Los Angeles! My life has had many serendipitous moments, this particular one i take as a fun sign i'm heading in the right direction...a new one at that. Del Mar
I spent an afternoon/evening in Del Mar with friends a couple days ago. Del Mar is beautiful! Such a small, sweet beach town. I loved it. Amtrak runs through the town, right along the Pacific, adds such a unique feel.
